Why do I need a subscription for the trial?

There are several reasons. One of the largest is it helps to reduce installs by bots or users with bad intentions. Also, no other action is required after this if you like the site and want to keep using it.

How do I cancel?

The simplest way is to just send an email through the Contact page to cancel. If you cancel prior to the end of your free two month trial, you won't be charged. You can also cancel the subscription within your PayPal account by following these instructions: PayPal Instructions

What is the price after the free two month trial?

It's only $29.95 per month. There is no extra charge for hosting the website, as it's included in the package when the site is automatically installed and setup for you.

Do I need a domain name?

No, you don't absolutely have to have one. If you want, you can choose the install option that doesn't require a domain name and your site will setup at a URL like Your site can also be adjusted to use a custom domain name later if you want it to.

If I want a custom domain, where do you recommend registering it?

We recommend registering one at, but you can use GoDaddy or any other domain registrar as well . If you need any help with this, please just send an email through the Contact page.

Do I need hosting?

No, since all Racer Template packages are kept on our servers and you just pay monthly to use the site, you have no additional hosting fee. It's included in the monthly payment.

How long does it take to setup?

Your site should only take a few minutes to setup, using the automatic installer. Note: If you have any issues with the automatic installer, please contact us through the Contact Page.

Can I maintain my content?

Yes, your Racer Template site has an administration area where you can easily manage your site content, schedule, results, adjust your site colors (theme), upload a custom header image, and much more.

What do I do after I sign-up?

First, log into your admin area at or if you went the username route instead of a custom domain name. Once logged in, you'll need to update your password and email address immediately, since all new sites have the same username/password at the time of installation. If you didn't see the username and password in the notice that's displayed immediately following your new installation, then please email us and it will be sent to you.

Can I switch from a Username based setup to a custom domain name later?

Yes, your site can always be switched to use a custom domain name later. You'll just need to contact us to make that change.
